The app displays the common charger pictogram and charging label required by Directive (EU) 2022/2380, together with software and security update periods, on the product pages of a Shopify store.
When a merchant installs the app, we store only what the app needs to work:
The app does not collect, store or process any personal information about the store's customers. It does not use cookies or tracking on the storefront.
The information is used only to show the pictogram and the label on the merchant's store and to save charging data on products the merchant selects. It is not sold or shared with third parties.
Settings and the access token are stored on Cloudflare Workers KV. Charging data and update periods are stored as metafields on the merchant's own Shopify products.
When the app is uninstalled, the stored access token and settings are deleted. We also respond to Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks for customer data requests, customer data erasure and shop data erasure.
